Elizabeth Gregor

Elizabeth A. Gregor is originally from Madisonville, Kentucky. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in 2012. She received her PhD in chemistry at The Ohio State University in May of 2020. Her dissertation is titled, “Understanding the Role of Lattice Defects and Metal Composition Ratio on the Photochemistry of CuFeO2 toward Solar Energy Conversion”.   Elizabeth’s life mission is to demonstrate that her role as a scientist and science educator is not inconsistent with her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, but that her faith in Jesus catalyzes her curiosity and drive to conduct chemistry research as an act of worship. She is also passionate about developing curriculums and teaching that incorporate foundational biblical truth and principles with the instruction of chemistry and physics.

Dr. Elizabeth A. Gregor is a dynamic, creative, and skillful research scientist, entrepreneur and science mentor. She has expertise in multiple fields including polymers, semiconductors, photovoltaics, spectroscopy, and pharmaceuticals.
